Get in TouchSinead studied law in UCC and graduated with a BCL in 1990 and an LLB in 1991. Following an apprenticeship in Cork, Sinead qualified as a solicitor in 1994 and joined the firm in 1996.
Sinead completed a Diploma in Healthcare Law with the Law Society of Ireland in 2019 which covered a range of areas including medico-legal claims handling, trials, constitutional and civil rights (to include Assisted Decision Making, Capacity, Mental Health Law, appointing a Guardian ad litem, childcare applications, Inquests, birth issues and end of life issues).
Sinead has comprehensive experience in personal injuries, medical negligence, and disputes representing either plaintiff or defendant, individual or business related, ranging from minor disputes to substantial litigation.
The main areas of her family law practice include pre-marriage legal advice, co-habitation and non-marital relationships, recognition of foreign divorces, separation, divorce and related proceedings through the courts, where necessary. Sinead is proficient at negotiating detailed settlements, employing a constructive approach where possible.
